ARTISAN CRAFTED
Limited Edition Runs
At Cloud Nine Jewellery, each piece is lovingly handcrafted in small runs - keeping them unique, like you! We partner with talented artisans in India and China and cherish our relationships with them, ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions. Our suppliers are proud members of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) a not-for-profit organisation established to promote responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices.
Materials
At Cloud Nine Jewellery, we pride ourselves on crafting pieces that stand the test of time, using only the finest materials. We maintain a close partnership with our suppliers to ensure ethical working conditions and environmentally responsible processes at every stage of production, from origin to delivery. Our jewellery features a variety of metals, finishes, and stones. All styles are hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and long-lasting in wear.
14k Gold Vermeil
Gold Vermeil (pronounced ‘ver-may’), is a premium plating technique which uses a 925 sterling silver base and a thick 14k gold layer of 2.5 microns for long-lasting colour and shine. The gold must be at least 10k and the plating at least 2.5 microns thick to be labelled gold vermeil. For a more in-depth explanation of these terms, check out our blog post.
14k Gold Plate
A long-lasting plated finish designed to endure everyday wear. We use with a 14k gold layer of 1.5-2 microns, over a 925 sterling silver base.
925 Sterling Silver
Made of 92.5% pure silver, and 7.5% a copper it’s a highly durable material ideal for daily, long-term wear and known for it’s strength and beauty. All our sterling silver pieces are stamped with “925”
Gemstones
We use a diverse selection of high-quality, natural gemstones, each possessing its own distinct characteristics and healing properties. This natural variation ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike, adding a uniqueness to each piece.
